For 20 years, the client has been the competence center for volunteer work in the Canton of Basel-Landschaft. As a nonprofit association that is politically and religiously independent, they work to promote, recognize, and facilitate volunteer engagement. They raise public awareness, advise and coordinate organizations and municipalities, and provide training programs for people involved in volunteer work.
They are offering an exciting opportunity for a competent and empathetic individual with strong organizational skills to join them as Executive Director (60%), starting January 1, 2027, or by agreement. The main responsibilities include management of the client's office, advisory services, training programs, member recruitment and engagement, communications, public relations and representation, fundraising, projects and innovation.
Requirements for the role include education in social sciences, communications, or business administration, additional certification in Volunteer Management, experience in project management, leadership and advisory skills, IT skills, a strong network in the Canton of Basel-Landschaft, and knowledge of the health and social services sector. Position is based in Switzerland.
