The client is seeking a senior strategic and business leader to oversee full ownership and accountability for a business unit P&L, driving the achievement of strategic objectives, revenue growth, and financial targets. The role will define and execute the long-term business strategy across Iberia and selected international markets, identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams, and lead high-impact strategic initiatives aligned with the organization’s overall goals. It will also support the assessment and integration of potential M&A opportunities, joint ventures, or strategic alliances within the entertainment sector.
The successful candidate will oversee operational management to ensure successful delivery of business activities and best-in-class execution, while driving operational efficiencies, process optimization, and scalability. This includes establishing performance metrics and reporting structures to enable data-driven decision making, ensuring compliance with company policies and governance standards, and promoting effective cross-functional collaboration across functions such as Finance, Marketing, Operations, Ticketing, Legal, and HR. The role will continuously monitor market trends, audience behavior, and competitive dynamics to position the business unit as a leading player in live entertainment.
In addition, the role will build and maintain strong external client and partner relationships, lead commercial negotiations and partnership discussions to maximize opportunities and profitability, and drive innovation in audience engagement, fan experience, and experiential concepts. Responsibilities include representing the business unit externally to strengthen positioning and reputation within the entertainment industry, leading annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, and partnering with Finance to strengthen reporting, forecasting, and financial controls. Leadership responsibilities include building, developing, and mentoring multidisciplinary teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement, and coaching senior leaders and high-potential talent through an entrepreneurial, resilient, and hands-on leadership style.
