The client is seeking a Managing Director / Director for their Fund Finance Advisory team in London. This leading independent advisory firm specializes in fund finance and has a global track record of advising on over $50bn in fund-level debt facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the execution of fund finance mandates, developing relationships with fund managers, sponsors, and lenders, and structuring bespoke financing solutions across various fund strategies. They will also provide strategic advice on refinancing, amendments, and new facility structuring, mentor junior team members, and represent the firm at industry events.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in fund finance, leveraged finance, structured finance, or debt advisory, with a proven track record of originating and executing fund finance transactions. They should have a deep understanding of fund structures, financing instruments, and the lender landscape, as well as strong commercial acumen and client relationship skills. Preferred backgrounds include experience at a top-tier bank, advisory firm, or fund finance legal practice, exposure to a wide range of fund strategies, and relevant financial qualifications such as CFA or ACA.
