The Manager, Payroll, Benefits & HRIS reports to the Director, Human Resources and is responsible for overseeing payroll, benefits administration, and the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role involves providing leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to ensure accurate, timely, compliant, and confidential delivery of payroll and benefits services. The Manager also plays a key role in financial reconciliation, payroll system development, labour relations support, and maintaining internal controls.In addition to managing payroll and benefits services, the Manager leads continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and client experience. This includes developing and maintaining effective systems, internal controls, and fostering a collaborative, service-oriented workplace culture. Overall, the Manager plays a critical role in supporting organizational objectives through effective systems and service excellence in the areas of payroll, benefits, and HRIS.
