Seeking a Manager of Environmental Services to oversee the Environmental Services Division within the Department of Infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure, this role involves managing solid waste, water, and wastewater treatment facilities, as well as water-related services at municipal pools. The Manager will ensure compliance with environmental regulations, drive sustainability initiatives, and manage the municipality's environmental impact to support the community's well-being and deliver essential services in accordance with regulations.
Responsibilities of the Manager of Environmental Services include leading, mentoring, and supervising division staff to foster collaboration and professional development, overseeing budget preparation and monitoring, recommending staffing and procedural changes based on operational needs, and ensuring compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards in managing municipal infrastructure.
