This full-time position, based in Broomfield, Colorado, requires regular travel and occasional evening and weekend event attendance.
A Precious Child provides resources to children in need to help them achieve their full potential and become contributing members of their community. The organization serves eight counties in the Denver Metro area, distributing essentials like clothing and school supplies. Since its inception, A Precious Child has provided over $250 million in resources to families, working with over 300 agency partners to create a better future for Colorado youth.
The Major Gifts Officer will be responsible for securing gifts of $10,000 and above, aiming to raise $750,000 annually from high-net-worth individuals and corporate partners. This role requires a seasoned fundraiser with expertise in donor relationship management and a strong presence in the Denver philanthropic landscape. Working closely with the Chief Development Officer and Chief Executive Officer, the Major Gifts Officer will help deepen donor engagement, expand fundraising capacity, and shape a growth-oriented development strategy for A Precious Child.
