The Major Gifts Officer at our client plays a crucial role in fundraising efforts to support the organization's mission of promoting God-honoring public policy, strengthening parental rights, and defending the sanctity of life in Idaho. This individual will be responsible for cultivating relationships with major donors, securing financial resources, and ultimately contributing to the advancement of a society where God is honored, religious freedom thrives, families flourish, and life is valued. The MGO will work closely with donors to communicate the impact of their contributions and engage them in the organization's mission.The successful candidate for this position will be passionate about advancing Christian values in the public square and have a proven track record of securing major gifts. They will possess strong communication and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to effectively articulate the mission and impact of our client to potential donors. The MGO will work collaboratively with the development team to create and implement fundraising strategies, identify new donor prospects, and steward existing relationships to ensure continued support for our client's initiatives.
