The client is seeking a Lead Engineer EMSR / Option Technical Director (m/f/d) to support high-volume EMSR project delivery and advance into the role of Technical Director. The position involves leading and managing projects from execution through completion, with responsibility for developing and planning industrial systems within EMSR technology.
Key responsibilities include creating technical specifications, preparing tender documents and bid comparisons, and coordinating engineering activities across E-planning, control cabinet construction, and installations, including on-site assembly supervision. The role also includes monitoring testing and commissioning activities, and coordinating effectively with all adjacent functions and interfaces to ensure smooth project delivery.
The ideal candidate has a completed technical qualification in areas such as mechatronics, electrical, EMSR/automation, or safety technology, along with several years of relevant EMSR experience, preferably in (chemical) plant construction or industrial plant construction. Strong knowledge of applicable electrical regulations, standards, and safety-related requirements is expected, while COMOS knowledge is an advantage. Professional conduct, strong organizational and communication skills, and good German and English proficiency are required, with travel readiness expected.
