Key responsibilities include evaluating new investment opportunities with external fund managers and providing well-supported investment recommendations. The role will serve as the primary point of contact for external fund managers, closely monitoring developments across existing and prospective private market investments. It will analyze market trends to identify opportunities, oversee portfolio management to support optimal performance, and prepare detailed investment reports for presentation to stakeholders.
The successful applicant will support regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards, and will build and maintain relationships with external financial institutions and advisors. Strategic advice for senior management on investment decisions will be a core part of the role. Qualifications include a strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related field, professional designation such as CFA or equivalent, demonstrated expertise in investment management and financial analysis (including experience with SCR structures), and strong analytical, decision-making, communication, and financial/tax expertise, along with proficiency in financial software and tools.
