As the International Business Director, you will drive the client's international growth strategy, manage the export team, and enhance the client's international market presence. This role focuses on accelerating the client's international sales and establishing it as a leading European entity with a global reach. After a detailed analysis of the current organizational and market landscape, you will craft and execute the client's strategy for international growth. This involves market consolidation, optimizing customer portfolios, and exploring new markets or segments. Additionally, you will lead certain regions or strategic accounts, creating partnerships and engaging in business development and customer retention activities.
In this role, you will oversee a team of 10 employees, including Export Directors and International Account Managers, guiding and supporting them while promoting professional growth and a unified vision. You will streamline organizational processes, clarify roles, and prioritize the department's strategic actions to enhance both performance and sustainability. Analyzing project and customer profitability will be key, with a focus on appropriate strategical adjustments. Active participation in trade fairs and international events is expected, along with maintaining collaborative internal relationships. As part of the Executive Committee, you will report to the CEO.
A strong background in international management with experience in the pharmaceutical sector, particularly with OTC products, is essential. The role requires fluent communication in English and French, while proficiency in other languages is advantageous. You should be prepared for regular international travel and to spend time at the client's headquarters in Belgium, working closely with local teams.
