The client is seeking an Interim Executive Director to provide executive leadership for a mission-driven nonprofit organization. This is an onsite opportunity in Northern California, reporting to the Board of Directors. The interim leader will guide the organization through a transition period by ensuring strategic and operational continuity, supporting a multidisciplinary leadership team, and fostering a positive, people-first culture.
Key responsibilities include leading organizational operations and program delivery, overseeing program quality and compliance, and ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory, licensing, documentation, and quality standards. The Interim Executive Director will drive program improvements and operational efficiencies through continuous quality initiatives, coach and develop managers, and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders, community partners, and oversight agencies. The role also involves partnering with the Board to support organizational stability and strategic priorities.
