An interim Chief Financial Officer role is available in New York, NY, providing senior financial leadership within an investment management organization. This assignment will oversee fund finance, financial reporting, accounting operations, investor support, and coordination with external service providers while supporting key business and financial initiatives.
Key responsibilities include leading fund finance and accounting operations, managing investor activity and related financial statements, and coordinating with external fund administration providers. The role also supports investor requests and due diligence efforts, coordinates audit, tax, and other compliance activities with external professionals, and oversees liquidity, cash management, treasury activities, and financial obligations. In addition, the interim CFO will strengthen financial processes, internal controls, reporting practices, and cross-functional coordination across investment and operational activities.
The ideal candidate has extensive alternative investment finance experience, with prior experience in CFO, Controller, or comparable senior finance leadership roles. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, and CPA certification is preferred.
