An Interim Chief Executive Officer is needed to provide executive leadership and operational oversight for a Critical Access Hospital. The ideal candidate is a servant leader with prior hospital executive leadership experience and a demonstrated ability to engage physicians, employees, and community stakeholders. The role requires strong organization, a patient-focused approach, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills are critical, and the candidate should be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
A bachelor’s degree is required, with a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Experience as a Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, or senior hospital leader in a Critical Access Hospital or rural healthcare setting is required. The position may involve varying travel requirements, with travel and related expenses typically covered by the provider and the client; candidates may receive periodic trips home and lodging and a rental car as part of the interim arrangement.
