Description

the client is seeking an Interim Cancer Recovery Director to lead the delivery, improvement, and transformation of cancer performance and pathways. The role is expected to start as soon as possible and will be for approximately 12 months. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the post holder will develop and deliver an integrated Cancer Recovery Programme, drive sustainable improvement against national cancer standards, and improve outcomes for local populations.

Key responsibilities include designing, governing, and delivering the Cancer Recovery Programme; developing and implementing an integrated cancer improvement plan across pathways; driving pathway transformation, left-shift models, and quality improvement; and prioritising and resourcing programmes to maximise impact and value.
