The client seeks an Interim Assistant Chief Medical Officer to provide physician leadership for clinical initiatives focused on quality, patient safety, physician and patient satisfaction, and improved care coordination. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Interim ACMO will partner with medical, nursing, and administrative leaders to advance clinical integration and strengthen patient outcomes, including efforts to reduce length of stay and mitigate hospital-acquired infections. The role also involves engaging physician leaders in patient experience and performance improvement while fostering collaboration, accountability, and effective resolution of clinical and operational issues.
The Interim ACMO will provide medical administrative leadership through participation in medical executive functions, credentialing activities, quality oversight, and resolution of clinical concerns. Responsibilities include leading and supporting policy development, clinical protocols, continuous quality improvement, patient care audits, and process improvement initiatives across the organization. The position is intended to support organizational improvement through physician leadership, governance participation, and direct oversight of quality-related activities.
Candidates must have an MD or DO and be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
