Description

the client is seeking a business development professional to drive growth and cultivate strong stakeholder relationships across APAC. the role will support both B2B and B2C efforts, including outreach, proposal preparation, demonstrations, follow-ups, and drafting agreements for leadership review and approval. the position will also support the broader B2B strategy by driving registrations and identifying sponsorship opportunities.

the client will expect the successful candidate to drive and organize events for prospective professionals, including inviting speakers and moderators and collaborating with internal marketing and partnership teams to expand the prospect pipeline. in addition, the role will engage with other key stakeholders such as employers, regulators, headhunters, industry associations, and training providers to enhance visibility and influence across the APAC region, while translating APAC market intelligence into product and content strategy in partnership with the global team.

Strategic responsibilities include exploring executive-level partnership opportunities with associations and major corporations, identifying and evaluating potential partners, and negotiating and managing partnership agreements to ensure mutual value and long-term collaboration. the client will measure success through client and event feedback, the growth in new stakeholder relationships and strategic partners, and overall improvements in registrations and microcredential sales, as well as increased candidate conversion. The successful applicant will bring proven business development experience in alternative investments, strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, the ability to build strategic partnerships and navigate diverse corporate environments, and strong communication and event management capabilities across APAC.
