Description

the client is seeking a professional to drive innovation across litigation and intellectual property (IP) practices, including leading technology and AI adoption in legal service delivery. In this role, you will streamline and improve how legal services are delivered by assessing available resources and technology to route work to the right people, processes, or systems. You will develop and support digitalization efforts such as automation, data capture, and workflow improvements, and contribute to data strategy activities including tracking matter data and monitoring use of practice resources.

You will vet, pilot, and help onboard legal technology solutions, including generative AI, and may serve as a product manager for select technology tools to oversee rollout, adoption, and impact measurement. You will promote and train teams on legal technology and generative AI use cases, providing individualized support to lawyers as they adopt new tools, identify workflow opportunities, and troubleshoot issues. You will also support large litigation docket teams with workflow design, intake, matter management, and reporting, including building tailored solutions such as dashboards, automation, and tools for budget tracking.

Key responsibilities also include identifying and integrating internal resources and technology platforms, developing client-facing solutions using practice data, collaboration platforms, and relevant metrics, and creating, maintaining, and automating knowledge libraries and experience databases. You will collaborate on sourcing and integrating practice content and evaluate service delivery using internal data, benchmarking, and market trends, while educating lawyers and staff on practice content and technology-enabled client solutions. The successful candidate should have an active J.D. admission in a U.S. jurisdiction and at least four years of litigation or IP experience in a large law firm, along with strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving skills, comfort in non-standardized scenarios, familiarity with workflow and document management tools, and a solid understanding of knowledge and project/practice management and efficiency principles, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, work independently, collaborate effectively, and travel as needed.
