The client is seeking an Indirect Tax Director to join a knowledgeable tax team and provide broad indirect tax leadership across advisory, compliance, and projects. The role will suit a technically strong indirect tax specialist who has experience operating as the indirect tax lead, including situations where they have been the sole indirect tax contact. You will work closely with global finance and report to the Head of Tax.
In this position, you will oversee indirect tax compliance responsibilities and provide strategic advice to the group. You will support large-scale compliance and advisory projects and engage with senior stakeholders to ensure effective decision-making and alignment. Strong stakeholder management experience is expected to enable collaboration across teams and geographies.
Candidates should bring solid global indirect tax knowledge from an in-house or practice environment and experience managing complex, large-scale compliance and advisory projects. A recent ACA/ACCA/CTA qualification is preferred but not essential. Flexible working is expected, with a primary office base in Central London and an option for remote work one day per week, and part-time candidates are welcome.
