RU is seeking a visionary leader to establish and maintain a high-quality Physician Assistant (PA) program at its Schaumburg, IL campus. The university's core mission of promoting equity, access, and social justice in higher education will set RU's PA program apart from others in the Chicago area. The program will focus on expanding access for underrepresented and first-generation students in the health professions, integrating evidence-based practice and cultural competence in clinical training, and incorporating themes like health equity and cultural humility into the curriculum.The Program Director will be responsible for all aspects of the emergent PA program, including organization, administration, fiscal management, accreditation, and compliance with ARC-PA standards. Reporting to the Dean of the College of Science, Health and Pharmacy, the Director will supervise faculty and staff, work with various campus offices and external constituents, and demonstrate a commitment to inclusive pedagogy and student success.
