Our client, The University of Wyoming, is seeking an Inaugural Dean of the School of Computing (SoC) who will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for all aspects of the School. Reporting to the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Dean will foster a culture of academic excellence, promote student success, support research, and advance interdisciplinary collaboration across the university. The Dean will play a crucial role in advancing the academic mission of the SoC, elevating its national profile, and cultivating strategic partnerships that benefit the university and the state of Wyoming.The Dean of the School of Computing will have a significant leadership role within Wyoming's public higher education system, with the opportunity to shape the future of the institution. With a substantial institutional endowment managed by the University of Wyoming Foundation, the Dean will be instrumental in supporting faculty excellence, expanding research initiatives, strengthening workforce partnerships, and promoting inclusive academic and industry collaborations.
