The client seeks an innovative, visionary, and entrepreneurial inaugural Dean of the School of Computing to serve as the chief academic and administrative leader for a new computing-focused academic unit. This founding role offers the opportunity to shape the school from its inception by establishing strategic direction, advancing academic excellence, and embedding a spirit of innovation. The School of Computing is envisioned as a forward-looking hub for computing research, education, and innovation, reflecting the view that computing influences every area of inquiry and will elevate interdisciplinary collaboration across engineering, science, business, the arts, and the humanities.

In this position, the inaugural dean will define the school’s identity, build its academic and research enterprise, and forge collaborations that position the client at the forefront of computing and interdisciplinary innovation. The successful candidate will bring strategic and operational strength to launch and grow a new school in an increasingly digital and AI-driven world, while elevating the school’s visibility and cultivating partnerships that broaden its reach and impact. The role includes experience creating new academic initiatives, managing growth effectively, and building structures that support long-term success.

The client is entering a period of significant growth and institutional renewal, which will provide momentum for the launch of the School of Computing.
