This role involves leading a team of HVAC technicians, installers, and apprentices in day-to-day operations, reporting to the General Manager. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance, installations, and commercial projects from quote to invoice, ensuring jobs are costed effectively, properly resourced, and completed on time and within budget. The successful candidate will set labour targets, track performance, manage procurement, and progress claims, with a focus on growing the department and establishing the company as the most trusted HVAC provider in Nelson.The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of setting high standards for the team, conducting regular meetings and reviews, and developing skills to ensure exceptional customer service. They will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients, engaging with key decision makers in the region, and securing new business opportunities.
