the client is seeking an experienced human resources leader to support full-cycle recruitment and strengthen people operations across multiple operating departments. This role will work closely with employees and executive-level staff, handling several concurrent projects while applying strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and best-practice HR knowledge to improve departmental efficiency and service delivery.
Key responsibilities include managing the employment process for both tax-exempt and non-tax-exempt staff, conducting interviews, sourcing and placing new team members, and supporting hiring through advertisements and HRIS. The role will also address employee relations issues, investigate allegations as needed, and maintain compliance with applicable federal and state regulations while supporting HR processes related to unemployment claims, wage seizures, and worker compensation claims.
The position involves communicating HR policies and procedures to help employees resolve issues tied to insurance claims, benefit plans, and general HR policy questions. The successful candidate will support compliance matters such as FMLA/LOA and other related issues, propose and implement continuous improvement opportunities, and may deliver leadership or educational development training for employees and local management teams. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or organizational development (or equivalent), at least 7 years of progressively responsible HR leadership experience, strong writing and communication skills, and training or experience consistent with employment law, compensation, organizational development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations.
