Description

The client is seeking an HR partner to join its team and help deliver 360° workforce and people-related support within a global commodities environment. The role will serve as the main HR point of contact, providing strategic guidance to leaders and employees across workforce planning, organizational design, and employee development, while supporting HR initiatives that align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include driving HR projects and continuous improvement efforts, analyzing workforce and HR metrics such as headcount (FTEs), personnel costs, absenteeism, and budget performance, and using this analysis to support informed decision-making. The HR partner will also coach and support managers on change management, performance management, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive, healthy work environment.

The client expects the HR partner to ensure compliance and strong employee relations by implementing HR policies, adhering to relevant Norwegian labor law requirements, collaborating with unions, and leading engagement and training initiatives. Qualifications include at least five years of HR experience, ideally in an HR Business Partner or similar role, strong knowledge of Norwegian labor laws, strong analytical capabilities with HR metrics and reporting, and excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills, along with fluency in Norwegian and English and the ability to build trusted relationships with leaders, employees, and union representatives.
