The client is seeking a permanent HR Director to work closely with the COO, MD, and senior leadership team. The role provides full responsibility for all HR areas, both strategically and operationally, including aligning HR policies, processes, and procedures to the Group. You will lead initiatives that support employee engagement, cultural development, and organizational development activity.
In addition, you will have accountability for safety, health, and environment (SHE) related activities, and you will be expected to apply strong knowledge of industrial relations and UK employment law. The role will also involve leading key programmes and projects, such as an employee engagement survey, HRIS integration and change management, and coaching and development for senior leaders.
You will manage and lead a team of HR professionals. The ideal candidate will have held a senior HR director-level role with experience in site-based HR within supply chain/logistics, engineering/manufacturing, food production, FMCG, or a similar environment. You will bring broad commercial HR generalist experience and be able to operate effectively in both strategic and operational capacities, supported by UK employment law and industrial relations experience.
