The client is undergoing transformation and, with a new five-year strategy focused on deepening trust, rebalancing risk, supporting growth, and becoming a smarter regulator, is seeking leaders to help deliver that direction.
The client is hiring a Head of Workplace role within the Finance & Corporate Services Directorate, reporting to the Director of Finance. The position leads workplace, facilities, estates, corporate security, and health & safety functions across The client’s national office portfolio and is based in the London office. Responsibilities include providing strategic leadership for the workplace and estate agenda; leading a multidisciplinary team; overseeing significant outsourced contracts to drive service excellence, operational performance, value for money, and continuous improvement; and shaping workplace strategy to support hybrid working, organisational growth, sustainability objectives, and changing workforce needs.
The successful candidate will bring a strong track record leading workplace, estates, and facilities functions in large, complex corporate environments, along with significant experience managing outsourced facilities management providers and complex stakeholder relationships. The role also requires outstanding leadership and stakeholder management skills, and expertise across health & safety, physical security, workplace planning, and estate strategy. The client operates a hybrid working model, with employees expected to spend a minimum of 50% of working time in the office, and senior leaders expected to be in the office for at least 60% of each month; The client also welcomes applications that support greater diversity across all levels.
