Description

Head of U.S. Sales & Operations is a leadership role at a client expanding its U.S. presence and building the organizational foundation to support the next stage of growth. This position offers ownership of both revenue expansion and operational execution in an agile, hands-on environment that values speed, accountability, and entrepreneurial thinking. The role focuses on shaping market strategy, strengthening customer relationships, and building scalable structures that enable continued expansion.

The Head of U.S. Sales & Operations will lead U.S. sales growth while strengthening the operating foundation needed to scale. Responsibilities include developing new customer relationships and expanding existing accounts with an emphasis on profitable, durable growth; representing the business in the market with credibility and strong commercial judgment; and building practical processes, performance cadence, and visibility across sales, service, and execution activities. The role also partners cross-functionally to improve responsiveness, consistency, and customer satisfaction, and balances near-term revenue generation with longer-term market development and organizational buildout.

Key qualifications include proven leadership experience in industrial, technical, distribution, or related B2B environments, along with strong commercial acumen and the ability to win business while leading from the front. The ideal candidate has a track record of building, launching, or scaling a business unit, market, or operating function, and is comfortable operating in a less structured setting with adaptability and initiative. They should demonstrate a hands-on leadership style, clear communication skills, and an ability to move between executive-level strategy and day-to-day execution; preferred experience may include industrial distribution, fluid power, technical products, or other service-driven product environments, as well as experience introducing process discipline in a fast-moving, low-bureaucracy culture.
