The client is seeking a Head of Treasury to own and oversee day-to-day treasury activities across its international operations. This is a highly hands-on leadership role that will manage core treasury functions while helping build and strengthen the treasury function, infrastructure, and controls as the business grows. Experience in financial services is essential, with experience in private wealth, private equity, investment management, or a family office being desirable.
Key responsibilities include managing cash management, liquidity, forecasting, banking, and treasury operations; overseeing daily cash positions to maintain appropriate liquidity; and managing payments, cash movements, and banking relationships. The role will execute and oversee foreign exchange transactions and settlements, facilitate internal funding arrangements and capital movements across international entities, and support treasury-related investment activity such as capital calls, debt servicing, and transactional funding requirements. The Head of Treasury will maintain accurate treasury and investment records, data, and reporting, produce timely treasury, cash, and liquidity reporting for senior management, drive process improvements and operational efficiencies, and lead implementation of a Treasury Management System.
Additional responsibilities include enhancing treasury policies, procedures, governance, and controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory, audit, AML, and KYC requirements, and acting as a key point of contact for banks, fund administrators, and other financial counterparties. The role partners closely with Finance, Investments, and senior leadership, and manages and develops a team of two treasury professionals. Applicants should have strong technical expertise across cash management, liquidity, banking, and FX, a pragmatic execution-focused approach, comfort operating strategically and operationally, and strong stakeholder management and communication skills; prior experience at Senior Treasury Manager level is expected, or readiness to step into a Head of Treasury position.
