Description

The client is seeking a Head of Transformation to lead enterprise transformation across global markets within a large financial services organization. This role brings transformation activities into a single, integrated delivery roadmap, ensuring programs are prioritized, governed, and executed with clear outcomes and measurable business impact. AI and automation will be part of the transformation agenda, with the expectation that opportunities are assessed and mobilized as part of a broader global transformation portfolio.

The Head of Transformation will develop and implement transformation strategies aligned to business objectives, shaping and prioritizing initiatives that improve client outcomes, operational effectiveness, scalability, risk management, and commercial performance. The role will translate strategic priorities into transformation programs, business cases, and delivery plans with defined outcomes, benefits, resourcing, and accountabilities. In addition, it will own and improve the project management capability and practice across Corporate Markets globally by establishing consistent standards, tools, governance, reporting, and delivery capability to support high-quality execution.

Key responsibilities include overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation; collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive change initiatives; identifying operational improvement and efficiency opportunities; monitoring and reporting transformation progress; engaging stakeholders to ensure alignment and support; and managing risks and challenges. The successful applicant will have extensive experience leading enterprise transformation, portfolio delivery, program management, or business change in complex or regulated environments, with strong understanding of technology-enabled transformation and operating model change. They should demonstrate experience with portfolio governance, delivery rhythms, executive reporting, benefits realization, and building project management capability, along with strong stakeholder management, people leadership, problem-solving, and knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements. The position is permanent and based in Leeds.
