The client is seeking a Group Head of Technology to lead the technology strategy, transformation, and execution across a key region. This senior leadership role will align IT priorities with business objectives while modernising technology platforms and capabilities to support digital transformation, data initiatives, and customer experience in a highly regulated environment. The role requires an ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels, balancing transformation efforts with operational resilience.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing the regional technology strategy aligned to business growth plans, leading end-to-end technology transformation (including legacy modernisation, cloud adoption, and digital platforms), and overseeing core IT functions such as application development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and architecture. The position will also involve partnering with business leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and customer-centric solutions; strengthening governance, risk, and compliance practices to meet regulatory requirements; and managing and developing a high-performing technology team that may include both internal and vendor resources.
The client is looking for proven experience at a senior technology leadership level (Head/Director) in insurance, financial services, or similarly regulated industries, along with a strong track record leading large-scale technology transformation programmes. Candidates should bring deep understanding of insurance platforms, data architecture, and digital ecosystems, as well as the ability to engage and influence C-suite and senior stakeholders with a balanced approach of strategic vision and hands-on execution. Experience managing regional or multi-market teams is preferred, and the role will support innovation across areas such as data analytics, AI, and automation.
