The client seeks a Group Head of Technology to drive technology strategy, transformation, and execution across a key region. This leadership role will align technology priorities with business goals while modernising platforms and capabilities to support scalable, secure, customer-centric solutions within a highly regulated environment. The position is expected to balance strategic direction with practical execution, ensuring operational resilience throughout transformation initiatives.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing the technology strategy, leading end-to-end technology transformation (including legacy modernisation, cloud adoption, and digital platforms), and overseeing core IT functions such as application development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and architecture. The role will partner with senior business leaders to deliver customer-focused digital solutions and improve user experience, while establishing strong governance, risk management, and compliance aligned with regulatory requirements. The head of technology will manage and develop a high-performing technology team, including internal and vendor resources, and drive innovation across areas such as data analytics, AI, and automation.
Required qualifications include proven experience at Head or Director level in a senior technology leadership role within insurance, financial services, or similarly regulated industries, along with a strong track record delivering large-scale technology transformation programmes. Candidates should have deep understanding of insurance platforms, data architecture, and digital ecosystems, and be able to engage and influence executive and senior stakeholders. Experience managing regional or multi-market teams is preferred, and the ideal profile will demonstrate a strong balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution capability.
