The client is seeking a Head of Technology to lead the evolution and transformation of its global technology environment. This is a hands-on leadership role for a technology professional who can combine strategic thinking with execution, driving improvements across systems, infrastructure, applications, and day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities include owning and delivering the group technology roadmap aligned with business objectives; leading SAP and Microsoft 365 consolidation programmes across multiple regions; driving technology transformation, automation, and process improvements; and ensuring secure, reliable, and effective technology operations. The role also involves managing internal teams and external partners, vendors, and technology budgets, while acting as a key technology partner to executive leadership and business stakeholders.
Requirements include 10+ years of experience across IT operations, enterprise applications, infrastructure, or technology delivery, along with strong experience in SAP/ERP systems and Microsoft 365, and experience leading migrations, integrations, or consolidation programmes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution and will have strong communication and stakeholder management skills; experience in manufacturing, supply chain, product, or multi-site environments is advantageous. The position also includes a willingness to travel regularly to the China office (about one week every month).
