The client is seeking a Head of Technology to lead its core technology team responsible for e-LOHC chemistry, materials, and system development. This is a hands-on executive leadership role where technology strategy and delivery are central to the product. The role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will help drive the organization from development through deployment.
The Head of Technology will lead and grow the technical team, drive the technology roadmap from current TRL through pilot and commercial scale, and own the IP development and protection strategy. The position will also support investor and customer technical diligence through Series A and beyond, contributing technical leadership to key evaluations. Collaboration across engineering (stack and systems) and operations (manufacturing and operations) is expected as The client scales from lab and pilot work into real-world deployment.
As a clean technology leadership role, the work typically spans electrified liquid organic hydrogen carrier development, with a focus on enabling safe, cost-effective hydrogen storage and transportation at scale. The Head of Technology will be expected to guide technology that leverages ambient conditions and integrates with existing fuel infrastructure, supporting practical and scalable pathways to connect hydrogen production with end users. Candidates should be prepared to provide cross-functional technical leadership, strengthen team capabilities, and advance commercialization efforts in support of hydrogen adoption.
