The client seeks a Head of Technology & Infrastructure responsible for providing highly strategic technology leadership across multiple regions. The role reports to the Global Chief Technology Officer and leads the governance, design, delivery, and operations of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure for the group, ensuring platforms are resilient, secure, scalable, cost-efficient, and compliant while enabling business growth, digital transformation, and regulatory obligations.
With end-to-end accountability, the Head oversees infrastructure solution delivery, engineering, operations, service reliability, and modernization initiatives across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. The position partners closely with business, architecture, security, risk, and delivery stakeholders to ensure operational effectiveness and sound infrastructure decision-making, including driving infrastructure standards, operational controls, and service operating procedures.
The role includes independently making infrastructure operating decisions to ensure service availability, resilience, and security, and prioritizing infrastructure incidents along with remediation and recovery strategies. It also involves approving infrastructure operational spend within delegated authority, and typically recommending infrastructure strategy and roadmap, major transformation initiatives, capital investments and vendor sourcing strategies, and changes to the infrastructure operating model and sourcing arrangements. The client expects a proven leader with at least 10 years of experience leading overall infrastructure for a large organization, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, and strong strategic, technical, and operational leadership with excellent stakeholder management and judgment under pressure, grounded in a disciplined execution mindset and a deep commitment to resilience, security, compliance, and value delivery.
