We are partnering with the client to appoint a Head of Talent Management to lead the people and talent strategy across APAC. This role is focused on shaping how the organisation attracts, develops, and retains exceptional individuals across research, trading, and technology within a performance-driven environment. The position combines strategic talent design with hands-on delivery, working at the intersection of talent, performance, and organisational effectiveness.
The Head of Talent Management will define and execute a best-in-class regional talent strategy aligned with global priorities, in close collaboration with senior leadership. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing frameworks for performance management, succession planning, and leadership development; partnering with senior stakeholders to build and retain high-impact teams; and driving initiatives to identify, assess, and accelerate top talent through high-potential programmes and leadership pipelines. The role will also help establish a merit-based culture through strong feedback and continuous development, collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure alignment between hiring and long-term development, and use data and insights to guide talent decisions and measure the effectiveness of people initiatives. The person in this role will lead and develop a small, high-calibre talent management team.
The client is seeking a senior-level background in talent management, organisational development, or HR leadership. Candidates should bring experience designing and implementing scalable talent frameworks and demonstrate credibility working with senior, highly analytical stakeholders. A data-driven, structured approach with strong problem-solving ability is required, along with comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-expectation, low-ego environment. The role also calls for high levels of discretion, judgement, and intellectual curiosity.
