A leading insurance group is seeking a highly strategic and forward-thinking Head of Talent Acquisition for the APAC region. The role involves spearheading the talent acquisition strategy across multiple markets and business lines as the organization undergoes significant growth and transformation. The head of talent acquisition will report to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, as well as collaborate with the APAC Head of HR and executive leadership team to deliver a best-in-class hiring strategy that aligns with evolving business needs and growth priorities across locations such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, China, Australia, and Southeast Asia.
This position requires working within a lean but impactful global talent acquisition leadership team. The responsibilities include driving excellence in talent acquisition, fostering innovation, enhancing candidate experience, and leveraging technology for process improvements. The candidate will also focus on building strategic sourcing capabilities and utilizing market insights to inform decisions across the business. Collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence and regional HR Business Partners will be key in addressing workforce plans related to mergers and acquisitions, leadership succession, diversity hiring strategies, and talent forecasting.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in regional or multi-market talent acquisition leadership within the insurance or financial services sector, particularly in complex, matrixed, and high-growth environments. This role requires the ability to balance strategic leadership with operational delivery and stakeholder influence while leading a high-performance hiring agenda.
