Description

The client is seeking a Head of Supply Chain to lead day-to-day supply chain operations as part of the leadership team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role will drive operational improvements and support company growth by translating strategy into actionable goals, performance management, and effective communication across leadership and employees. The position is expected to help build scalable operational infrastructure to support a growing mountain bike business, improving overall efficiency and operational results.

The Head of Supply Chain will manage procurement, supply chain planning, inbound and outbound logistics, inventory, and production, and will have operational responsibility across locations in Colorado and Taiwan. Responsibilities include establishing and executing plans for facilities and distribution to support growth, with inventory and production capacity in the US and new facilities in Taiwan, along with a distribution model for non-US markets aimed at reducing total delivered costs to wholesale accounts. The role will also develop measurement tools to assess internal and external supply chain efficiency, help build and support the integrated leadership team, and evaluate and optimize enterprise resource planning systems to support scaling objectives.

Key qualifications include 8+ years of supply chain and operations experience in the biking or outdoor industry, with experience working with global manufacturers, particularly in Asia. The ideal candidate will have deep experience building infrastructure to support rapid growth, including the ability to lead supply chain and operational transformation for hypergrowth. This role also requires strong execution in data-driven operational improvement, demonstrated leadership of high-performance teams, experience in organizational development and personnel management, and the ability to coach and develop people while influencing cross-functional partners and aligning teams with the company’s business plan and vision.
