The client is seeking a senior leader for Head of Strategy and AI, to drive an organization-wide shift toward insight-led decision-making and AI-enabled analytics. This role will shape how analytics operates as a shared service, influencing overall strategy while staying hands-on in analytics delivery.
The Head of Strategy and AI will lead a centralized Analytics and MI function, balancing strategic leadership with practical execution. Responsibilities include evolving analytics from reporting toward actionable, commercial insight; embedding AI tools and automation into analytics workflows; overseeing scalable data, reporting, and governance foundations; and managing decisioning capability and platform migration. The role will also involve influencing senior stakeholders across Finance, Marketing, and executive leadership.
Candidates should have strong leadership experience within analytics and strategy functions, ideally in financial services. The role calls for demonstrated ability to develop data-driven strategies, translate data into clear commercial recommendations, and confidently influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite leaders. Hands-on skills with SQL and ideally Python are expected, along with practical exposure to AI tools in analytics environments.
