As Head of Strategy and AI, you will lead a senior role focused on driving an organisation-wide shift toward insight-led decision-making and AI-enabled analytics. You will shape how analytics operates as a shared service, influencing strategy while remaining hands-on to ensure analytics capabilities translate into practical, data-driven outcomes for the business.
In this centralised leadership position, you will lead Analytics and MI, balancing strategic direction with delivery of analytics that supports growth and executive decision-making. Responsibilities include moving the function from primarily reporting to actionable, commercial insight; embedding AI tools and automation into analytics workflows; and overseeing scalable foundations for data, reporting, and governance. You will also line manage decisioning capability and oversee platform migration, while influencing senior stakeholders across Finance, Marketing, and broader leadership teams.
You will bring strong leadership experience within analytics and strategy functions, ideally in financial services, along with clear examples of developing strategies grounded in data work. You should be able to turn data into clear commercial recommendations and confidently influence senior stakeholders, including executive leadership. Hands-on capability with SQL is required, and experience with Python is ideal; practical exposure to AI tools within analytics environments is also expected.
