The Head of Sport and Physical Activity role involves being a strategic advisor to the Senior Leadership team at our client, shaping strategy and driving performance across a diverse portfolio of facilities, services, and programs. Leading a multi-disciplinary team, the role requires ensuring safe, effective, and financially sustainable leisure services across multiple facilities while supporting wider ambitions for participation, health improvement, and community wellbeing. Additionally, the role involves working collaboratively with partners across the city and nationally, advocating for the value of sport and physical activity, and representing our client at senior forums to influence policy, secure investment, and strengthen the organization's reputation as a leader in inclusive, community-focused sport and physical activity.The Head of Sport and Physical Activity will be responsible for inspiring and challenging the team to lead the operational delivery of leisure services, as well as working to enhance our client's reputation as a leader in the field. This role requires a strong focus on driving performance and shaping strategy, as well as collaborating with partners to advocate for the importance of sport and physical activity.
