A Singapore-headquartered client is seeking a Head of Shared Services who will lead their HR Shared Services function. This newly created role is located in Singapore and involves managing a team to optimize HR operations for an organization of over 2,200 employees. The objective is to establish a robust HR Shared Services framework that delivers outstanding employee experiences. The position is full-time and permanent, focusing exclusively on Singapore.
The primary responsibilities include overseeing HR operations such as payroll, statutory compliance, HRIS administration, and process optimization to enhance efficiency. The role also covers end-to-end HR operations, including onboarding, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with local employment laws and company policies. Furthermore, the successful candidate will partner with business leaders and HR stakeholders to align operational practices with the organization's priorities and implement continuous improvement initiatives, as well as manage key HR projects like system enhancements.
The ideal candidate will have extensive HR Shared Services experience and a proven track record in industries with diverse workforces. A deep understanding of Singapore's employment regulations, payroll processes, and HRIS systems is essential. Applicants should have at least 15 years of experience in HR/HR operations, including significant exposure to payroll, compliance, and process improvement. Experience in leading teams and driving operational excellence in fast-paced environments is critical.
