In this role, you will provide strategic, academic, and operational leadership to the Western Australian School of Mines (WASM), an internationally recognised provider of mining, metallurgical, chemical, and energy engineering education and research. You will bring significant experience in complex stakeholder settings, with demonstrated ability to lead organisational performance, strategic change, and academic excellence while strengthening relationships across industry and government. The role is expected to be supported by a doctoral qualification and an internationally recognised record of academic achievement, alongside distinguished academic expertise aligned to the school’s disciplines, strong leadership and governance experience, strategic and operational priority setting, people leadership and stakeholder engagement capability, financial and resource management skills, experience leading organisational change and continuous improvement, deep industry engagement, and a commitment to diversity, inclusion, equity, and Indigenous engagement.
