the client is seeking a Head of Sales USA / Sales Director to establish and expand its presence in the United States. The role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth and increase brand recognition in the US market, while building strong relationships across the distribution and customer ecosystem.
The Head of Sales USA will oversee daily operations with distributors to ensure smooth product distribution, and will engage directly with key customers to support revenue growth. responsibilities include conducting product masterclasses and briefings for distributor sales teams, adapting marketing campaigns for the US market in collaboration with the marketing/event agency, and proactively identifying and securing new strategic customers such as major nightlife venues, hospitality locations, and prominent bars in key areas, potentially bypassing traditional distribution channels.
the client expects a candidate with proven sales experience, preferably in spirits or a related field, along with strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills. the ideal profile can adapt to differing market dynamics and customer preferences, is able to anticipate trends and act proactively (including coordinating timely ordering with the production team), and is willing to travel extensively within the US, particularly across key states such as California, Florida, and New York. As the first internal role in the USA, the position will also help set the foundation for building a dedicated regional sales team.
