The client seeks a dynamic Head of Sales to spearhead sales strategy and drive revenue growth for its digital cryptocurrency news platform. This role is responsible for expanding market presence, building scalable sales execution, and partnering across the organization to deliver advertising solutions to a global audience interested in cryptocurrency markets.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing robust sales strategies to increase revenue and market share; leading and expanding the sales team through hiring, training, and performance management; and building relationships with advertisers, sponsors, and other business partners to secure new opportunities. The Head of Sales will collaborate with marketing and editorial to create tailored advertising packages, oversee the sales pipeline and account management to meet targets and maintain client satisfaction, and analyze market trends and competitor activity to continuously refine sales approaches.
The role requires extensive sales experience, including at least several years in a leadership position within digital media, technology, or financial services, along with strong knowledge of the crypto and blockchain space. Candidates should demonstrate success in creating sales strategies and leading high-performing teams, with strong analytical skills to translate insights into action, and excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Familiarity with the digital advertising landscape (including programmatic sales and SEO) is expected, along with a high level of professionalism, an entrepreneurial mindset, and enthusiasm for the cryptocurrency industry.
