The client in the hospitality sector is expanding and seeking a Head of Sales & Revenue. This position, reporting to the COO, involves ensuring the effective execution of pricing and distribution strategies in collaboration with operations and marketing teams. The role requires designing and leading the client's global commercial strategy, aligning it with the objectives set by the COO and corporate leadership. Key responsibilities include supervising the sales team, defining objectives and policies, identifying commercial development opportunities, strategic alliances, and new markets. The position also involves maintaining coherence between pricing policies, distribution strategies, and sales objectives for each business unit, as well as providing strategic oversight of the Revenue Management team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the revenue managers to ensure alignment with the client's global objectives. They will validate pricing, distribution, and segmentation strategies, ensuring they match the corporate strategy and asset positioning. The role involves analyzing revenue management results, such as ADR, RevPAR, and occupancy rates, and evaluating performance against budget and forecasts. Regular meetings with revenue managers will be essential to review performance, opportunities, and market risks. Reporting directly to the COO, the candidate will present accurate and updated commercial and revenue results, consolidating performance reports and actively participating in results presentations with the leadership and other departments.
The ideal applicant will have a university degree in Business Administration, Tourism, or related fields and demonstrable experience in similar roles within hotel groups. They should have advanced knowledge in sales and revenue management strategies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage strategic projects in the accommodation sector. Analytical skills are crucial for interpreting data and making informed decisions. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, and knowledge of other languages is a plus.
