The client provides 360° search and market coverage for global commodities and is hiring a Head of Sales to build and lead a new business unit focused on mechanical forged, cast, and CNC components. The role is responsible for developing sales direction for a mechanical components division and driving growth across the full sales cycle by using industry relationships and internal collaboration to support sourcing and customer engagement.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing the sales strategy for the new division, generating new business through an established industry network, and building long-term client relationships. The Head of Sales will also collaborate with internal teams to establish sourcing capabilities while managing end-to-end sales activities, ensuring prospects move through the pipeline and converting opportunities into new accounts.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in sales within forging, casting, CNC machining, or mechanical components. They should have a proven track record in business development, a hands-on entrepreneurial mindset, and an existing customer network along with deep technical understanding of industrial parts. Fluency in German is advantageous, and the role reports to the CEO.
