The Head of Regulatory Policy will be responsible for leading a team in developing and implementing regulatory policies in accordance with the Regulation of Legal Services (Scotland) Act 2025. This role will involve overseeing a wide range of tasks, including policy development, legislative implementation, and operational delivery to ensure our client has the necessary frameworks, rules, and guidance in place to effectively regulate legal services. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Regulation, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the regulatory landscape for legal services in Scotland.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory policy development and implementation, with experience in leading teams and managing complex projects. They will need to have a thorough understanding of the legal services sector and the regulatory frameworks that govern it, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The Head of Regulatory Policy will need to be proactive, strategic, and able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve our client's regulatory objectives.
