Description

the client is seeking a Head of People to shape and scale the operational backbone of a global people function, combining strategic HR leadership with hands-on execution. The role focuses on building scalable people operations, strengthening employee experience, and ensuring robust systems and compliance to support rapid growth.

Key responsibilities include owning and optimizing HR infrastructure (including HRIS, payroll, benefits, and internal people data processes), managing the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, offer letters, offboarding, promotions, role changes, and performance cycles), and designing policies and procedures that sustain culture during scaling. The role also drives reporting and insights for headcount, retention, performance, and workforce planning, oversees benefits programs and vendor relationships, and partners with leadership on organizational design, planning, and performance management.

The client will support global compliance by partnering with legal and finance on international employment, payroll, and immigration requirements. The Head of People will manage and mentor a small junior team, serve as a trusted point of contact for employee relations, and maintain high integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information. The ideal candidate typically has 10+ years of People Ops or HR experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments, experience managing payroll and benefit plans, and experience supporting international workforces, along with strong HR operations and employment compliance knowledge and a systems-building, ambiguity-comfortable approach.
