Description

the client is seeking an exceptional Head of People to join the leadership team and design the human capital strategy that will scale the organization through its next phase of growth. Reporting to the Chief Operating Manager, this role will own the full people strategy for a global, distributed team and will build and lead a People function from the ground up. The position focuses on shaping the employee experience, strengthening organizational health, and ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and values.

The Head of People will lead and grow the People team, provide strategic HR business partnership to leadership, and drive organizational design and workforce planning in support of business priorities. Key responsibilities include owning and scaling global recruitment processes, creating clear career progression frameworks to support managers, and designing and implementing employee development programs that enable continuous learning and mobility. The role will establish people policies and procedures that support clarity and compliance, champion a high-performance culture, and drive engagement and retention initiatives using data, feedback, and consistent communication.

Qualified candidates are expected to have 10+ years of experience in HR, with a strong background in recruitment or training and development, including 3+ years in a Head of HR or HR Director capacity. The role requires proven ability to design and implement people systems within lean, fast-moving teams, with a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution. The client is also looking for high integrity, a focus on enhancing the employee experience, and strong written communication skills to support clear asynchronous guidance and documentation.
