The client is seeking an experienced Head of Partnership to support and accelerate growth by influencing the development of both a platform and its broader ecosystem. This is a key partner- and revenue-generating leadership role, reporting to the CEO and collaborating closely with other teams, including Investment and Ecosystem. The role will typically involve sourcing, negotiating, and executing partnership deals, with a strategic and analytical approach to business, product, and technical considerations.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing a partnership strategy by understanding market trends, identifying potential synergies, and targeting high-potential incumbents. The role will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners and alliances, evaluate and recruit new partners, negotiate key commercial agreements, and drive joint sales success. The Head of Partnership will measure and optimize existing partnership performance, collaborate with ecosystem and marketing teams on partner programs and events, actively pursue new revenue and investment opportunities, provide market insight to support platform development, represent the client in meetings and public forums, and provide regular analytical reporting to stakeholders.
The client expects a strong passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain, with interest in both CeFi and DeFi, along with the drive to stay current on industry trends. The role is intended for candidates with 6+ years of relevant experience in areas such as PE, VC, strategy consulting, or a proven track record of sourcing and building strategic partnerships, preferably in financial or technology contexts. Candidates should demonstrate high-value deal negotiation with C-level stakeholders, solid business judgment and ownership, strong relationship-building and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously and proactively in a small, multicultural, and remote environment; a strong footprint in the US ecosystem is a plus.
